<p>The objects of this society are charitable, literary and educational; and shall specifically serve to encourage the study of late Medieval history and promote research, preserve manuscripts, support restorations of sites having charitable, literary, educational, historical or governing backgrounds, and to foster patriotism.</p>
<p>All persons of good character who are lineally descended from a Justiciar are eligible for consideration. Membership shall not be denied due to race, nationality or creed. Upon recommendation of the Membership Committee the Chief Justiciar shall issue a written invitation to apply.</p>
