Membership of the Royal Society of St. George is open to anyone who is committed to the well-being of England and Englishness and it is contained within five categories to suit the interests of the Royal Charter of the Society and the requirements of the individual member.
A Branch Member is one who joins the local Branch of the Society. Branch Constitutions and rules are the responsibility of the Council of the Society wherein, operationally, each Branch is Autonomous. Full Membership is where one is both a member of a Geographical Branch and a Direct Member of the Society. Direct Members and Full Members vote and elect candidates to the Council at Society General Meetings. Direct Members and Full Members may offer themselves for vacancies on the Council as they occur in line with the Bye Laws.
Associate Membership is open to individuals who are not eligible for Ordinary Membership but express themselves in support of the Objectives of the Society. Associate Membership is available to the Branches and to the Society direct.
Honorary Membership is extended to holders of the Victoria Cross, the George Cross, the George Medal and persons who have given distinguished service to the Society or their country.
Ordinarily membership shall be of those, wherever born, being Englishmen or Englishwomen or their children or remoter issue. Candidates for Membership or Associateship of the Society shall be proposed at the discretion of the Membership Secretary.
