<p>Membership is by invitation only and requires a proposer and a seconder. Additionally, a candidate for membership must submit genealogical document-ation and prove one of the following:</p>
<p>a.) Full (Voting) Membership: Proven descent from an unbroken hereditary lineage THROUGH THE MALE LINE to a family that was documented as a member of the hereditary Russian nobility by the Russian Imperial Senate prior to the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917.</p>
<p>b.) Associate (non-Voting) Membership: Proven descent from a direct hereditary lineage THROUGH MARRIAGE OR THROUGH THE FEMALE LINE to a family that was documented as a member of the hereditary Russian nobility by the Russian Imperial Senate prior to the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917.</p>
<p>c.) Colleague (non-voting) Membership: Open to anyone who is interested in and supportive of the Russian Nobility Association in America and its activities.</p>
<p>Membership is by invitation only.</p>
