Persons of any age may become members of the Thomas Rogers Society, Inc. by providing proof of their direct descent from Thomas Rogers, Pilgrim, a passenger on the Mayflower voyage that terminated at Plymouth, New England, in December, 1620. Individuals who become members by direct/blood descent from Thomas Rogers are "Direct Members". "Direct Members" under the age of twenty-one are non-voting "Junior Members". A spouse, widow or widower of a "Direct Member", although not of blood descent themselves, are welcome as non-voting "Associate Members", and may participate in all activities of the society.
