He graduated from the New York School of Fine and Applied Arts and was a member of AAID. He married Nancy Gulley Foster on April 19, 1947, in New York City. They had one daughter, Mrs. David Maurice Morrison White (Care Bowen Buck). Mr. Buck died in Klamath Falls, Oregon on March 29, 2000.
