Mrs. Wagoner attended Brenau Women's College in Gainesville, Georgia, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Spanish. She is married to Dr. Joel Morris Wagoner, with whom she has two sons and a daughter; Merritt, Andrew and Mary Elizabeth.
