Barksdale Penick Award. He also twice was awarded the William C. Michael Phelps is very active in his local community. He is a current and longtime Board Member and Sponsor of the Marin Shakespeare Company and the chair of its Human Relations Committee. Mr. Phelps previously served as Secretary of the Reedlands Homeowners Association for several years. He served as Marin County Little League Assistant District Administrator for three years, and President of Tiburon Peninsula Little League for five years (having served previously as a Coach for several years). He was also a Coach of the Tiburon Peninsula Soccer League.
