Professionally, he has been Certified in Civil Trial Law since 1989 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, in Civil Trial Advocacy since 1990 and in Civil Pretrial since 2012 by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, elected member American Board of Trial Advocates since 1991, and became a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 1988. He has practiced commercial litigation in Dallas, Texas since 1982.
